During the next 12 years of study in New York, Mr. Rishik also attended the famed Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art.

Johanna Nowik received her Bachelor’s of Music in Viola Performance from the Colburn Conservatory of Music in 2019 and a Performance Studies Certificate in 2020 as a student of Paul Coletti.

Martin Chalifour will begin his 25th season as Principal Concertmaster of the Los Angeles Philharmonic this fall. He graduated with honors from the Montreal Conservatory at the age of 18 and then moved to the United States to continue studies at the famed Curtis Institute of Music.

Laura Brenes is an active freelance musician in the Los Angeles area. She currently performs with many orchestras including the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, Long Beach Symphony, Pasadena Symphony, Santa Barbara Symphony and Los Angeles Master Coral orchestra, and Los Angeles Philharmonic.

Kenneth Munday was appointed Principal Bassoon of the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra by Sir Neville Marriner in 1976, the youngest principal player at the time.

A Southern California native, violinist Roger Wilkie has been the beloved concertmaster of the Long Beach Symphony for over 27 years. He has appeared as a soloist throughout his career with the Symphony, performing the concertos of Brahms, Mendelssohn, Bruch, Prokofiev, Tchaikovsky, and more recently Sibelius to critical acclaim.

Described as a “true sound philosopher” (Oberösterreichische Nachrichten), the brilliant young Italian-born pianist Rodolfo Leone, whose career is supported by the Amron-Sutherland Fund for Young Pianists at the Colburn School, was the first-prize winner of the 2017 International Beethoven Piano Competition in Vienna. Rodolfo released his debut album on the Austrian label Gramola in May 2018 and “Piano Jewels” featuring works of Muzio Clementi on Naxos in January 2022.

Double bassist and composer David J. Grossman enjoys a multi-faceted musical career on both the East and West Coasts. Born and educated in New York City, he joined the New York Philharmonic as its youngest member in Spring 2000, and has continued to be a member since.
